Diabetes can cause nerve damage and poor circulation, especially if a person has difficulty managing blood sugar levels. This can lead to foot ulcers, blisters, pain, and foot infections. Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skeletal system. Especially affecting the spine and Sacro-illiac joint. Morning stiffness, mild feverishness are often complained by patients in the initial stage. Sciatica is the pain that radiate down the sciatic nerve to either of the legs or both of them. The pain or discomfort starts from one side of the lower back and radiates down to thigh, calf and upto toe. This may be due to an old injury or herniated disc / disc bulge in the lower part of the spine or a spur causing compression at the root of the sciatic nerve. Mostly this occur on one leg with or without back pain. Takayasu's disease, "aortic arch syndrome," "nonspecific aortoarteritis," and "pulseless disease is a form of large vessel granulomatous vasculitis with massive intimal fibrosis and vascular narrowing, most commonly affecting often young or middle-age women of Asian descent, though anyone can be affected. It mainly affects the aorta (the main blood vessel leaving the heart) and its branches, as well as the pulmonary arteries. Females are about 8–9 times more likely to be affected than males. Takayasu's arteritis is similar to other forms of vasculitis, including giant cell arteritis which typically affects older individuals. Due to obstruction of the main branches of the aorta, including the left common carotid artery, the brachiocephalic artery, and the left subclavian artery, Takayasu's arteritis can present as pulseless upper extremities (arms, hands, and wrists with weak or absent pulses on the physical examination). Treatment with certain specific ayurvedic compounds and therapies are found to be significantly effective in arresting the progression of the disease and recuperating the overall health and body function.

The fact that we have'nt ever realised is that 95 % of the joint diseases do not require surgery. Any kind of inflamation associated with or without pain in joints are called as Arthritis. Among the types of arthritis, the commonly seen are - Osteo-arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Gout arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis and Septic arthritis. Avascular necrosis is a degenerative disease that affect the hip joints.The bone tissue in the head of the femur degenerates and dies due to the lack of blood supply in them and collapse into the joint socket. This problem developes in the later periods due to trauma, happened in the past that had affected the hip. This may also develope as an after effect of prolonged or higher dosage of steroid medication. Usually Partial / total Hip Joint Re-placement or core decompression surgery are the procedure recommended depending on the degree of damage occured.
