Urticaria / Hives are allergic reaction on skin with itchy raised bumps which may come and dissapear and may continue troubling. This is triggered by various factors like some foods like peanuts; sea foods shel foods, additive in food and all 'pitta' precipitating foods, chemicals, insect stings, dusts/dust mites etc. As per the Ayurvedic approach one need not hunt after the causes always as they are just the secondary cause and the primary causes are within our body itself, which if treated well, as per ayurveda principle, the person would not only get cured from hives but can even be able to withstand the allergens, the rest of his life. Though the modern medical science consider this disease as incurable, ayurveda has a definite solution to acute and chronic urticaria/ hives.
