Spondylosis is a degenerative disc disease that is associated with the intervertebral discs made of thick ligament found in between the vertebra, that gives a cushion effect and support to the spine. Any past history of trauma or repeated jerk while commuting on bad roads or by sitting or lying down in bad postures and sedentary lifestyle leads to this disease. spondylosis affected in the neck area among the cervical vertebrae is called as cervical spondylosis and when it affects the low back involving the lumbar and sacral areas of the spine, it is called as lumbar spondylosis.
