Takayasu's disease, "aortic arch syndrome," "nonspecific aortoarteritis," and "pulseless disease is a form of large vessel granulomatous vasculitis with massive intimal fibrosis and vascular narrowing, most commonly affecting often young or middle-age women of Asian descent, though anyone can be affected. It mainly affects the aorta (the main blood vessel leaving the heart) and its branches, as well as the pulmonary arteries. Females are about 8–9 times more likely to be affected than males. Takayasu's arteritis is similar to other forms of vasculitis, including giant cell arteritis which typically affects older individuals. Due to obstruction of the main branches of the aorta, including the left common carotid artery, the brachiocephalic artery, and the left subclavian artery, Takayasu's arteritis can present as pulseless upper extremities (arms, hands, and wrists with weak or absent pulses on the physical examination). Treatment with certain specific ayurvedic compounds and therapies are found to be significantly effective in arresting the progression of the disease and recuperating the overall health and body function.

The fact that we have'nt ever realised is that 95 % of the joint diseases do not require surgery. Any kind of inflamation associated with or without pain in joints are called as Arthritis. Osteo- arthritis is a degenerative joint disease. Osteo arthritis in the initial and 2nd degree can be treated and restored to its normal function and in 3rd degree  the process of degeneration could be arrested /deleyed and maintained with effective ayurvedic therapies and certain exercises. In 4th degree of OA where the miniscus  between the knee joints are worn out and the bones touch each other to erode their surfaces and the joint goes out of alignment then knee replacement is the last resort. It is true that maximum of the joint diseases do not require surgery but among the rest of them which required surgery some are because of our negligence, ignorance  and lack of awareness about the disease and its proper treatment. If proper measures are taken in the very early stage, we can arrest or deley even the degenerative joint diseases like osteo-arthritis and Avascular-necrosis which are  recommended with surgery after the condition deteriorates to the 3rd or 4th stage. Thus preserving and maintaining the wellness of joints should be given a priority.  

Avascular necrosis is a degenerative disease that affect the hip joints.The bone tissue in the head of the femur degenerates and dies due to the lack of blood supply in them and collapse into the joint socket. This problem developes in the later periods due to trauma, happened in the past that had affected the hip. This may also develope as an after effect of prolonged or higher dosage of steroid medication. Usually Partial / total Hip Joint Re-placement or core decompression surgery are the procedure recommended depending on the degree of damage occured. AVN at the 2nd and 3 rd degree could be treated and reversed with our advanced ayurvedic treatment method.
